In Vietnam, many tourist buses do not leave from a bus station: they depart from the company's own office, often in Hanoi's Old Quarter or around Pham Ngu Lao in Ho Chi Minh City, or pick you up at an airport. Here is where each company leaves from, as listed on 12Go in October 2026.

On the 27 routes of our survey, departure points listed on 12Go were often street addresses — a company office, a café, a hotel — rather than a bus station. On Hanoi → Sapa alone, the main companies left from at least 9 different addresses, plus stops at Noi Bai airport.
So the right reflex is simple: read the pick-up address on your ticket, check it on a map the day before, and allow time to get there. The names below are those used on 12Go for departures on 24 October 2026.
